Smithson
Valley Food Bank
Believers
follows the teaching of Jesus when he said in Matthew 25:40 "I tell you
the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine you
did for me."
The Smithson Valley Food Bank is a ministry of Believers which provides
donated food items to families during emergencies. It operates from a
building on the church grounds and serves an area with a population estimated
at more than 2,000 including Canyon Lake, Smithson Valley and Spring Branch.

Angel Food Ministries Host Site
Believers
is now an Angel Food Ministries Host Site.
Once a month you can purchase $60 to $70 worth of groceries for only $25. Additional specials are also available.
Angel Food Orders must be placed and paid for at the church before our monthly deadline.
Orders must be picked up on a designated Saturday morning, late in the month.
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization
dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States.

Veggie Co-op
Believers
also offers the opportunity to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, once a month from local farms and the produce terminal.
You may purchase a full box of assorted fruits and vegetables for $20 or a half box for $10.
Veggie Co-op orders must be placed and paid for (cash only) at the church before our monthly deadline.
Orders must be picked up on a designated Saturday morning, late in the month.
For convenience, the pickup day for the Veggie Co-op orders is the same Saturday as Angel Food orders.
GriefShare
You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.
At Believer's we know, if you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend,
you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.
This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things
you’ve never faced before. GriefShare Minstries can help.
Our GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through
and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your
loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce.
At Believer's we know that separation and divorce are some of the most painful and stressful experiences anyone has ever faced.
Our DivorceCare Ministry is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through
this difficult time.
It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.
DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.
DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a special group to help your children heal from the pain caused by a separation or divorce.
DC4K provides your children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings.

Home Ministries
Believers,
through our Home Ministries offers community Bible studies and fellowship. These
weekly meeting are held in various homes in the area. We encourage you
to join one of these groups. Contact the church office for a location
near you.
Believers also helps out at local nursing homes and community
programs like Hospice and prison ministries.
